It’s official. Registration is now open for the 2012 Fosters Belmar Pro, the Fins Pro Junior, ASP Longboard Pro and the Hannah Womens Pro.

The Fosters Belmar Pro is just four moths away and things are happening in Belmar. We are very excited to announce that the 2012 event will include not only the much-loved Pro and ASP Fins Junior Pro, but also a new ASP Longboard Pro, the only longboard tour event in North America. We are excited to announce a new event added to the Fosters Belmar Pro!
In addition to the Longboard Pro upgrading to an ASP sanctioned event, we are pleased to announce the addition of the Belmar Masters Pro! This event will draw some of the biggest legends of the sport for a 36+ older division that will bring a new exciting element to the Fosters Belmar Pro and a chance for enthusiasts to watch and possibly meet their surf heroes. Some of the most legendary figures to ever step foot on a surfboard are already hinting at making it but we will not disclose names yet but will spill the beans on those attendees in the near future so stay tuned.
2012 is shaping up to be better than ever!

This is not one of those blow-smoke-up-your-butt recaps where we exaggerate the conditions and the action to make things sound exciting. The surf came up today in a big way for the conclusion of the Fosters Belmar Pro. Sure the wind was onshore, but it blew up some three to five-foot peaks with some bigger sets for the last day – one that will go in the history books of New Jersey surfing.
