With Pacifico coming onboard this year and upgrading the Pro to an ASP World Qualifying Series event, we expect to see some big name surfers from around the world registering for the Belmar Pro to collect some qualifying points. The last time it was ASP sanctioned, Shaun Cansdell took the thing and wound up qualifying for the elite WCT a year later.
